ESPN NRL expert Brett Kimmorley wraps up another busy week of rugby league on and off the field in the latest edition of Set of Six.Panthers are the NRLs entertainersThe Panthers are the best side to watch in the NRL. They were brilliant in their 40-10 belting off the Wests Tigers on Friday night. Their flair can sometimes be over the top in trying flick passes when the circumstances dont call for it, but they have a great forward pack, big outside backs and terrific young kids with Nathan Cleary developing a game plan. Theyre a wonderful side thats so enjoyable to watch. Its refreshing to see the kids enjoying themselves. Penrith fans have strong reason to get excited because this team could surprise a lot of people in the finals and have a deep run. Theyve guaranteed a top-eight spot and play an attractive brand of football. It will be challenging for opposition sides to defend the Panthers because you have no idea what theyll do. Penrith coach Anthony Griffin stated he didnt know how far the Panthers can go in the NRL Finals. If a coach says he doesnt know, thats a way of saying he believes theyre a good chance of making a deep run without putting any pressure on themselves. You cant put a limit on them. Matthew Johns claimed Penrith should win two grand finals over the next five years with the great young crop of kids they have, and Johns would know. He wouldve made a great NRL coach and has a keen eye for potential stars of the future.Cowboys finally get it togetherNorth Queensland Cowboys are one of the top sides but theyve been out of form during the last few weeks. There was speculation that teams had figured out how to beat the Cowboys by rushing Johnathan Thurston and eliminating his time and decision-making. Their response against the Warriors on Saturday night was absolutely brilliant and it was all on the back of how well Thurston played. He is such a great player that if you try to come up with plans to stop him, hell come up with alternate plays to counter them. He just blew the Warriors away. Obviously, the Cowboys were outplayed in consecutive losses against the Melbourne Storm, Wests Tigers and Sydney Roosters with the travel taking its toll. However, Paul Greens side varied their attack with Thurston placing emphasis on inside balls to find weaknesses in the middle of the Warriors defence. Thurston is one of those very special players that the game has been lucky enough to have. Theres no way of stopping him - you can only try to come up with ways of minimising his impact on a game.Another Warriors season ends on the scrapheapThe Warriors have been hugely disappointing in the last two weeks in back-to-back losses to the Cowboys and South Sydney Rabbitohs. They had so much to play for with finals football on the line and South Sydney racked up a large score on them. Once again, with the possibility of finals football, they lacked any fight against the Cowboys. They got flogged. They dropped the ball repeatedly and failed in completing the basics. You get caught up in the hype and excitement of the Warriors winning streak but once again they let themselves down. When something is on the line, the Warriors cant handle the pressure. They need a massive overhaul in New Zealand. Jim Doyle is a wonderful CEO, but they require a fair address of off-field issues if theyre ever going to achieve their expectations and aspirations in the competition. The Warriors travel the most in the NRL and it takes its toll and plays a part in their inconsistency, but theres something to do with the culture.Dogs halves missing in actionThe Bulldogs struggled in their 20-10 loss to the Brisbane Broncos and they need to get the ball into their halves hands more often. In Michael Lichaa, Canterbury dont have an active threat out of dummy-half like they had with Michael Ennis. Ennis was so good for them with his creativity, he was a big reason behind helping their grand final appearances of 2012 and 2014. Will Hopoate isnt a ball-playing fullback either. Sam Kasiano is the teams ball-playing forward and hes set to be suspended for the next two weeks. Hes the only player that gives them any sign of creativity or excitement in attack. If theyre going to do anything serious over the last two rounds, they need to get the ball in Josh Reynolds and Moses Mbyes hands. They cant go repeatedly through the forwards and win off that bash-and-barge style of footy. If theyre going to do anything, itll be off the back of their halves. This weeks match against against the Cowboys will be massive; itll be at Belmore Oval in front of a full house. Its important for them to just compete. I dont know if the Dogs can win but if they dont compete, Johnathan Thurston and the Cowboys will run them off the park.Broncos defence back to its bestrBrisbane were the best defensive team in the competition last year and thats what got them to the grand final against North Queensland. Their attack is improving with Anthony Milford, Ben Hunt and Darius Boyd returning to form with three straight victories. But its your defence that wins football games. The Broncos defence against the Bulldogs was physical and hard hitting with great line speed. Their resilient attitude looks like its back at the Broncos. Theyre a hard side that doesnt do much wrong under Wayne Bennett and if they get their defence in order, theyre certainly a good chance of fighting for that title again.Storm have uncovered another diamondAfter spectacularly scoring four tries in the first half of the Storms 38-18 win over Manly, theres a lot of excitement over Suliasi Vunivalu and his similarity to a young Israel Folau.?Vunivalu equalled the rookie record set by the former Storm star and dual-international Folau with a four-try haul that brings his tally to 21 in just 16 games this season. No-one even knew who Vunivalu was when the Storm recruited him. The Storm are great at finding these players, and maybe the proximity to AFL heartland is helps a winger learn how to catch the high ball and do freakish things. This guy is amazing. Coach Craig Bellamy consistently shows why he is the greatest coach in the game in recognising potential talent and turning them into superstars. Lets hope Vunivalu has a career similar to what Folau has done because he could be a very special player in the game for a long time. Nike Air Max Plus Schweiz Online .
