Birmingham, Ala. - Six Southeastern Conference cross country teams and six additional individuals have qualified for the upcoming NCAA Division I Mens and Womens Cross Country Championships, to be contested Saturday at Terre Haute, Ind.Thirty-one teams were selected to participate in each championship. The top two, seven-person teams automatically qualified from each of the nine regions, for a total of 18 teams. Thirteen additional teams were selected at-large. Each of the SEC teams that earned berths to the NCAA Championships qualified automatically.The SEC teams participating include the Arkansas and Ole Miss men, and the Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri women.Thirty-eight individuals were selected to participate in each championship through an automatic qualifier and at-large selection process. All individual qualifiers finished in the top 25 in their region.Participating mens individuals include Robbie Farnham-Rose (Alabama), Antibahs Kosgei (Alabama) and Jacob Thomson (Kentucky). Participating womens individuals include Veronica Eder (Auburn), Sara Tsai (Vanderbilt) and Katy Kune (Kentucky).The NCAA Championships take place Nov. 19 at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center in Terre Haute, Ind.
