Each week of the NFL campaign, we will sift through the deeper options at each position with an eye on identifying streaming fantasy commodities with valuable matchups to consider.Do you need replacement options for this first heavy bye week in fantasy football competition? We have some choice names to consider for those seeking widely available options at each position.QuarterbackBrian Hoyer, Chicago BearsOver the past three weeks, only Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Ryan have scored more fantasy points at the quarterback position than Hoyer, who demonstrated on Sunday that he has no problem distributing the ball to all of his receivers, as four different pass catchers were targeted at least six times.? The result was Hoyers third straight game with two touchdowns, and he exceeded 300 passing yards in each contest.? This week, hell face the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed 17 or more fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in three of their four games, so his good run is likely to continue. - K.DAlex Smith, Kansas City ChiefsThe Raiders have been a sweet matchup for opposing signal-callers so far, as they have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game in the league and the most in the AFC this year. The generous rates continue when we look a bit deeper, as the Raiders have ceded 8.85 yards per attempt -- second most in the league -- and the sixth-highest scoring rate, allowing a touchdown on 6.3 percent of opposing attempts. Smith averaged 42 rushing yards and produced four passing scores against the Raiders in two meetings last year, so the precedent for success is present. Owned in just a little more than 23 percent of leagues as of Tuesday, Smith is an ideal streaming option for Week 6. - J.M.Running BackBobby Rainey, New York GiantsIf you are really deep into the waiver wire (ownership percentage of 20 percent or less) at running back, there isnt much from which to choose.? Rainey is available in 96 percent of ESPN.com leagues, and as the receiving back for the Giants, his role warrants increased ownership.? This week, Rainey will face off against the Baltimore Ravens, who just allowed Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson to gain 33 yards on four receptions.? Plugging Rainey in if you are desperate will likely result in a similar total, which while not great, is certainly better than posting a goose egg. - K.DJames White, New England PatriotsWhite led the Patriots backfield in snaps in Week 5 and revived his efficient receiving chemistry with Tom Brady, as he tallied 89 yards from scrimmage, thanks in large part to 63 yards as a receiver. Second behind only Charles Sims last year in fantasy points per route run in PPR formats and with a valuable share of the Patriots offense as long as Dion Lewis is sidelined, White could thrive against a Bengals defense allowing the 11th-most receiving yards to tailbacks on the season. - J.MWide ReceiverCameron Meredith, Chicago BearsWith Kevin White relegated to injured reserve, Meredith stepped into the Bears starting lineup opposite Alshon Jeffery.? Meredith led the Bears on Sunday with 12 targets, which he converted into nine receptions for 130 yards and a score.? As mentioned before, Hoyer is very effective spreading his throws out to multiple receivers, so expecting another double-digit target performance is too aggressive, but even with just seven targets, you should find yourself with 60 yards, based on his historical catch rate and average yards per catch. - K.DDavante Adams, Green Bay PackersThe Packers offense doesnt air the ball out very often, but there is still some value to Adams averaging the most air yards per target on the team. Adams average target travels 12.4 yards downfield, which has fittingly led to him pacing the team with 14.1 yards per reception. With 17.9 percent of the teams targets on the season and such a valuable share of them proving of the vertical variety, its telling to consider Adams has scored in three of four games this season. Can he be the teams James Jones this season and sustain value as a touchdown asset? Available in more than 90 percent of leagues, it takes only a few clicks to find out if he can continue his aerial success with Aaron Rodgers against Dallas this Sunday. - J.MTight EndC.J. Uzomah, Cincinnati BengalsTyler Eifert had to see a back specialist last Wednesday, so its fair to speculate that hes not quite ready to return. If that turns out to be the case in Week 6, Uzomah would start again at tight end for the Bengals. Over the past three games, Uzomah has been serviceable, posting an average of nearly 40 receiving yards per game, which would project to 640 yards for a full season. Last year -- a big year for tight ends -- only 10 tight ends hit that level of production.? Uzomah is available in almost 90 percent of ESPN.com leagues.? He shouldnt be available in yours for as long as Eifert remains inactive. - K.DJesse James, Pittsburgh SteelersThroughout the fantasy football season, we hear the idiom, Dont chase last weeks points. In this case, were actually advising you to chase last weeks points, because deploying The Outlaw is hunting for touchdown production. Its fine to knowingly chase touchdowns past the handful of trusted tight ends. In this case, its nice to know James has a worthy share of a potent passing game with a quarterback who likes to look at tight ends in the red zone. The Dolphins have allowed the seventh-most yards to tight ends this season, so there might even be a bit of yardage cushion if James fails to enter the end zone this Sunday. - J.MD/STTennessee TitansThrough five games, the Titans have allowed just six touchdowns to opposing offenses, which is the lowest per-game rate in the league.? The Titans have blitzed on more than 20 percent of their defensive plays.? Thats relevant because Browns quarterback Cody Kessler has not performed well when under pressure, completing just 44 percent of his throws in those situations, compared to 73 percent when theres no pressure.? Look for the Titans to bring consistent pressure and continue their streak of games forcing multiple interceptions. - K.DDetroit LionsIm endorsing the Lions, mostly based on the favorable matchup metrics we find from the visiting Rams, as opposing defenses have averaged 11 fantasy points in standard leagues against Los Angeles, the most in the league. Its also an endorsement that could provide a high floor, if we see Ezekiel Ansah return, as hes an elite pass rusher and the Lions have respectably produced multiple sacks in each outing this season. With a lackluster Los Angeles offense coming to town in a game with a modest implied point total per the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, the Lions are a widely available streaming option to consider. - J.MIndividual Defensive PlayersLinebackerTahir Whitehead, Detroit LionsSticking in the Motor City, the Lions Whitehead has played on 98.8 percent of the teams defensive snaps as the every-down interior linebacker. Given such a steady snap rate, Whitehead has tallied at least 10 tackles in four of five games and is a top-20 producer in most scoring formats. This middle linebacker could be busy corralling Todd Gurley this Sunday. Available in nearly 90 percent of ESPN leagues, Whitehead is a high-floor LB2 to acquire before the market wakes up. - J.MDefensive BackRodney McLeod, Philadelphia EaglesAn expensive import this offseason in free agency, McLeod is living up to his price tag with a presence on 97 percent of the Eagles defensive snaps while rating seventh in coverage grade and 13th against the run among safeties, according to Pro Football Focus. Given he doesnt leave the field very often, we can appreciate McLeods steady tackle rate, while any big plays are merely gravy. - J.MDefensive LineBrandon Graham, Philadelphia EaglesWe find a pair of unheralded fantasy assets from defensive coordinator Jim Schwartzs aggressive scheme.? Graham started the season with a sack in three straight games and then flashed some capable rush defense with six tackles in Week 5. As the key edge menace on a defense predicated on getting honest pressure from the front four, Graham should continue to shine with a healthy snap rate in Washington this weekend. - J.M Camiseta Barça 2019 2020 . Coach Tom Thibodeau says the former MVP will probably start travelling with the team in the next few weeks. Rose tore the meniscus in his right knee at Portland in November and was ruled out for the remainder of the season by the Bulls. Camiseta Ousmane Dembele . World champions Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov of Russia won the gold medal with 237.71 points, Moore-Towers and Moscovitch followed at 208.45 and Ksenia Stolbova and Fedor Klimov of Russia were third at 187. http://www.camisetasfcbarcelona.es/camiseta-ivan-rakitic-barca.html . It was hard for Luck to pull off another comeback, or even get into the end zone, while standing on the sideline. Rivers threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to rookie Keenan Allen and Nick Novak kicked four field goals to give the Chargers a 19-9 victory against the Colts on Monday night. Camiseta Barcelona 2020 Comprar . General manager Jarmo Kekalainen told Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Dispatch on Friday that he wants to see Gaboriks contributions go beyond the scoresheet before considering a long-term deal for the soon-to-be unrestricted free agent. Camiseta Luis Suarez Barata . The Islanders dealt Thomas Vanek to the Montreal Canadiens after less than a year on Long Island. Meanwhile, the Oilers dealt long-time sniper Ales hemsky to the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday for a fifth-round pick in 2014 and a third-rounder in 2015. Earlier this month, the Big 12 publicized its pursuit of potential new members after months of speculation about expansion. Those contenders have been measured by their football prowess. We understand. Thats the driving force in collegiate athletics. But wed like Bob Bowlsby, the Big 12s commissioner, to consider the hardwood implications of any expansion-related decisions. Were here to help. If basketball were the only part of the equation, here are the best options to increase the leagues on-court swagger (in reverse order):10. Boise State BroncosCoach Leon Rice inherited a Boise State program that finished below .500 in five of the nine seasons before he was hired prior to the 2010-11 season. Boise State has won 20 or more games in each of the past four seasons under Rice. The Broncos captured the 2014-15 Mountain West conference crown, and they reached the NCAA tournament twice (2013, 2015) in recent years. Last years squad failed to hit its ceiling. But Boise State continues to assemble the personnel to compete on the national stage.9. New Mexico LobosThe Big 12s best venues possess unique personalities that have helped the league send 70 percent of its membership to the two most recent NCAA tournaments. Its difficult to grab a home win at Kansas, Iowa State or Oklahoma State. New Mexicos rowdy, sunken home atmosphere, the Pit, fits with those intimidating Big 12 home venues. The Lobos finished in the top 25 in attendance last season. They havent reached the NCAA tournament since 2014, but their loyal supporters remain.8. SMU MustangsWe know. Weird stuff has been happening at SMU. The Emanuel Mudiay situation. Last years NCAA issues and the postseason ban. Larry Browns offseason departure. But the Big 12 should consider SMU, and not just because its a growing program based in Americas ninth-largest city. The Dallas-based program also makes sense because the Mustangs have turned Moody Coliseum into one of the games most underrated venues. Their fans nearly filled the arena (capacity 7,000) every night (6,907 average attendance) last year. You can build on that support.7. San Diego State AztecsWell talk basketball later. Do you know how many Big 12 schools would fly to San Diego early to prep for SDSU? All of them. Yes, the beach is nice. And thats included in this evaluation. Last season, the program nearly averaged a sellout (12,209) all season. Its student section, The Show, is one of college basketballs most vibrant groups. They turn Viejas Arena into a party every night for an SDSU program that has become a national player under coach Steve Fisher. The school has won five of the past six Mountain West championships. And did we mention the beach?6. UNLV RebelsYes, Marvin Menzies is the programs fourth basketball coach since January. Its a long story. But the Runnin Rebels boast a legacy and location that position Menzies to hit the reboot button in the coming years and help UNLV regain its national standing.dddddddddddd The school might never experience the Larry Johnson Era again, but it can rise and become a perennial NCAA tournament team.5. Temple OwlsIf you want to add more grit to the talented Big 12 basketball scene, throw Temple into the mix. Temple also brings continuity. The program has had just five coaches since 1942. Fran Dunphy has been with the program since John Chaney retired in 2006. Plus, the Owls would enhance the talent pool in the Big 12. Theyve reached the NCAA tournament in seven of the past nine years.4. BYU CougarsThe Cougars could pursue their initial, prospective admission to the Big 12 as a football-only transition. The goal, per BYU brass, would be full membership if the Big 12 welcomed the program to the league. The Cougars would not hurt the conferences basketball stock, either. Theyve won 25 or more games in eight of the past 10 seasons. The outliers were 24- and 23-win campaigns in 2013 and 2014, respectively. BYU has missed the NCAA tournament only twice since 2007.3. Cincinnati BearcatsCincinnati hasnt missed the NCAA tournament since 2010. Coach Mick Cronin has rebuilt the program in the post-Bob Huggins years with a tenacious defensive style that keeps the Bearcats alive, regardless of the opponent. Theyre always in the mix. They always have a chance. The Big 12 wants to add a successful program to its fold. Well, Cincy has failed to finish a season in KenPom.coms top 50 just four times since 2002. Theyve missed the top 100 only once in that stretch. The Bearcats are solid and consistent.2. Memphis TigersThe rich history of the program that Larry Finch built and Penny Hardaway, Lorenzen Wright and Derrick Rose blessed with their talents would enhance the Big 12s dominance on the national scene. Memphis expects the best from its Tigers. Struggles in the post-John Calipari years included four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances from 2011 through 2014. The school boasts great facilities and boosters, and the passion in the Memphis community for college hoops rivals that of any fan base in the country.1. Connecticut HuskiesName the only program with four national championships since 1999. Its not Duke (three national championships in that stretch) or North Carolina (two). The answer is Connecticut. The Huskies won in 1999, 2004, 2011 and 2014. Due to academic issues, they were banned from the postseason in 2012-13. But UConn is a modern powerhouse with 10 Elite Eight appearances since 1990. If the Big 12 decides to make a basketball-only decision, UConn should be its first choice. ' ' '
