Colchester have rejected a bid in the region of £400,000 from Barnsley for midfielder George Moncur, according to Sky sources.Moncur will be allowed to leave Colchester this summer, but the League Two club are looking to secure up to £500,000 for him. The 22-year-old has held initial discussions with Barnsley over a move to Oakwell, although the newly promoted Championship side are still yet to come to an agreement with Colchester. Charlton had a £150,000 bid for Moncur rejected in May, while Peterborough and Milton Keynes Dons remain interested.
