The?Arizona Wildcats?have cut ties with sophomore running back Orlando Bradford after he was arrested on domestic violence charges.Tucson Police Sergeant Pete Dugan confirmed that Bradford is facing four counts of domestic violence aggravated assault and three counts of domestic violence kidnapping.The events allegedly occurred over a two-day period from Sept. 12-13 and were reported to the Tucson Police Department by the female accuser at around 6:30 a.m. local time on Sept. 14.Dugan said when officers arrived to speak with the accuser, they noticed visible injuries and domestic violence detectives were then called to the scene to investigate.By early afternoon, the detectives had obtained enough probable cause to arrest Bradford on the seven felony counts of domestic violence, Dugan said.Dugan said that the detectives are continuing to speak with people who may have more information.Wildcats coach Rich Rodriguez issued a statement Wednesday, saying the team was aware of Bradfords arrest and, as a result of his actions, he has been dismissed from the program.Bradford remained in custody, and was being held at Pima County Jail on $20,000 bail.According to Tucson.com, Bradford participated in Arizonas practice on Wednesday morning.Bradford, from Shreveport, Louisiana, had a standout game for Arizona last season in the New Mexico Bowl, rushing for 61 yards on 11 carries.
