LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Liberty University said Thursday that athletic director Jeff Barber is resigning, effective immediately.The school made the announcement on its website but gave no reason for the decision.In the announcement, school president Jerry Falwell said Barber is a wonderful person and has committed a decade to Liberty University.
